We had a Fieldfare take over the feeding ground yesterday, taking on all comers. Keeping them from feeding it even took on an aggressive stance against a hawk that flew overhead.

I noticed a fieldfare yesterday and this morning spotted that there is actually a pair of them. There is a bush still with quite a few big berries on outside the kitchen window, so can see them close up. No photos taken though.
